Mackerel Salad in the Garden, June 2012

This salad was made along the same lines as the Moroccan salmon below, except with smoked mackerel fillets rather than fresh salmon, raw pepper & tomato and a good bit more turmeric! As it was the start of June, I was able to use an assortment of herbs from the garden and windowsill – basil; coriander; parsley and chives. We ate it in the garden.
